EGGS DAY 2

~*~*~ ....started as a dream, now everybody know me as the kinder egg king... ~*~*~

When I first purchased these I thought I would open one or two a day. Now that seems unimaginable. 125 little secrets hidden between thin yellow plastic. I must discover them all.

Here's todays:

#16: CREEPY CLOWN

Someone should talk to Germans about the concept of cute toys, because this guy is creepy as fuck. He's another one who has his capsule as part of the toy. There were several little holes in the egg, and he is basically a Mr.Potato Head, except he doesn't have any different noses/ears/eyes to switch between. This clown looks particularly disinterested. The makeup around his left eye is either dripping or was put on sloppy, which would be understandable, since he has no arms.

#17: PUFFER FISH

An unusual one. He came as just a folded up piece of paper, and you unfold him and blow into him and you have a mix of a fish and a Chinese lantern.

#18, 19, 20, & 21: FLAG RING HAND STAMPS

When  I got the first one of these I was really confused, but as I got more (and I got a lot of these, my largest set so far) it kinda made more sense. Each hand has a flag with the corresponding country's initials on it, and inside there is a pre-inked stamp of the word "Hello" in the language spoken in that country. The instructions that come with these show you putting it up to your webcam on the Kinder Egg website, but I'm not sure why I would want to do that, and if there's any explaination, it is written in German. In Europe they use these to stamp your hand as you leave the country so that you can get back in for free.

#22: MAGNIFYING FOX

A cool fox is good enough for me, especially one in a cape, but this toy also comes with a game. The fox is holding a giant magnifying glass and you are supposed to use that to help you spot chickens on the paper it comes with, although it isn't really neccessary.

#23: TWITTER BIRD

A fairly simple little bird, except for one weirdness: his eye flips up. It's not that the eye piece is connected poorly, they clearly put that part on a hinge, although I can't imagine why you would ever want to do that. Maybe to wear it as ring.

#24: INTRICATE TRAIN CAR

Really, check that out. And that thing was inside of an egg. Lots of little pieces on this one, and the instruction shows other train cars you can collect and connect together. Not much else to say about this one except how impressive it is, and also the reflection in this picture is pretty neat.

#25: FLOPPY BUNNY

A flying / water type Pokemon. It is able to use its long ears to glide through the air or to act as flippers in water. Can learn both Fly and Surf.

#26: DOG

From the same set as the bear from yesterday. With the bear i was having trouble blowing it over like you are supposed to, but with this guy I can barely get him to stand up. I think they have a magnet in them which is what makes them flip over onto their head and stay that way so well.

#27, 28, & 29: RUBBERY ALIENS

Another set of guys. They're slightly rubbery, and the instructions show a kid throwing it and it bouncing, but they don't really bounce too well. The middle one is Gengar's brother.

#30: PISSED OFF MULE

He's probably so angry because every other Kinder Egg toy has some kind of movable part or is supposed to do something while he is stuck being boring as hell.

#31: ANTEATER

He has a wheel on the bottom that his tounge connects to so that as you turn the wheel his tounge moves in and out.

That's it for now!! More eggs soon. I can't stop opening them.
